The Luton Advice Network offers Gateway Outreach services in local community venues around Luton. A team of specially trained Gateway assessors is on hand during weekday afternoons in various community locations, helping clients with issues such as Debt, Housing, Welfare Benefits, Immigration problems, Employment Rights, Discrimination, and family legal matters.
The assessors are trained to diagnose the client's advice needs, work out the priorities and make sure that any emergencies can be dealt with swiftly. They will provide assisted information to clients - and where the client needs it, the assessors will signpost or refer the client to the most appropriate specialist adviser from one of the LAN member advice providers.
